Editing Blog MV

My group has been editing our music video for 2 days. Thankfully, we didn't have any technical difficulty issues with the laptops and desktops in our classroom. We decided to use Laurens laptop because it has Imovie. We find it easier to work with Imovie because pinnacle studios held up our editing process when we were editing the commercial. Our music video isn't due until next Monday at 12:30, I think we should have this done by Friday or at the end of today. We began editing by dumping all of our footage into Laurens google drive. After all of our footage was dumped onto Laurens google drive we transferred it to Imovie. The transfer took a while because we recorded 75 takes. We should have enough takes to fill in takes that we might cut out.
We used the storyboard to assist us with editing. Our storyboard included different types of transitions that we wanted to use for certain parts of the music video. The first thing that we did was look at the takes we recorded for the first scene. The first scene was recorded in Laurens living room. In this scene we were listening to the music and discussing how much we liked it. We didn't realize that our footage was so long so we ended up cutting a lot of the scenes. We did this so we would be able to add in other takes that we took. for instance we have tons of mall footage but we ended up not adding some of it in because of our time limit. Also, because we recorded in different areas and some areas looked better then others.
We took the modeling takes that we filmed in Forever 22 and we split them up so that we could add more takes. So when one person walked down the runway the next scene would shot an establishing shot of stores that we went into. Our commercial can be up to 1 minute and 20 seconds. While we were editing we had to watch what scenes we added because some of them were too long.
To make editing easier Lauren and I thought that it would be better for us to place all of the footage that we plan on using first. After we placed it and edited each take then we would go back and add on things such as transitions or time changes. By time changes I mean slowing down or speeding up footage. We sped up the walking footage because that wasn't something that necessarily needed to be seen. We slowed down the footage of Anishka modeling because it looked extremely well and it went along with the beat of the song.
We didn't do a split screen because it wasn't necessary. The transitions that we added were: swipe ups, side swipes, etc. Filming and editing this music video was honestly a great experience that I will remember. I can't wait to film again.

Filming 2

On Wednesday of last week, my group decided to film. I came with a very doubtful disposition— I tend to be soft spoken and dreaded that my ideas would not be shared or considered my group mates. I was also quite discouraged after our last blog, which although it was a success, had many flaws. Additionally, my arrival had already delayed our intentions for the blog as I ended up arriving late due to issues with the GPS. As a result of this, we couldn’t get the two contrasting time periods as we had conversed about in previous meetings. However, my group was incredibly understanding and worked around the inconvenience. We filmed the first part upon my arrival (after I changed into our street clothes). Already we were seeing a difference in quality— we projected our voices and had the music in the background at the perfect volume. The first scene was taken from a high angle, but it wouldn’t be a simple wide shot. We filmed the same scene three times: one as a wide shot, one as a two shot between Lauren and Jahrvia, and one as a three shot between Aaliyah, Lauren and I. This way we could combine the shots to our liking in order to create something creative and different. This is already different from our first film, which didn’t have a lot of variety in the shots.

The genius behind our filming was that Lauren had planned the specific parts of the film to the second so that they could properly align with the song. Because of this, while we were at the house (where the majority of these timed segments were) we had to make sure that every scene was perfectly timed for each segment. I liked this very much because this allowed us to be more organized and stick closer to the storyboard. All of this paved the way for a smoother recording process. Because the other three members of my group are members of the FLHS Thee Sound auxiliary, they made sure to include their dancing capabilities which was extremely entertaining to watch. This was not the only entertaining part of the filming process. I found that, contrary to the previous project, there was a lot less stress. This is likely because the idea we went with was much more free and creative— we were weren’t confined to a script and were allowed to develop and record new ideas as we went along. Some of these ideas sparked out of inspiration, and others sparked out of inconvenience. For example, we found out that we arrived at the mall at an hour that was too late to request consent from the people at the front office and were thus not permitted to record the scene of us walking across the street from the wide shot angle that we had desired. Because of this, we resorted to using the elevator to shoot the shot in order to show all of us heading to the mall. However, this paved the way for us to utilize more camera movements, allowing us to do a pan. Another example was when we used the Christmas decorations as a walk through.

Entering the mall was also a fantastically successful experience. In order to compensate for Lauren’s handicap, we purchased a cart for her to travel on in the mall. We took various shots inside of the mall of just us riding the carts, and some additional shots (pan) of the kiosks and stands in the mall. We did face one issue in the mall— quite a few stores were not comfortable with us recording in their outlets. As a result of this, we had to resort to merely recording the opening. This was not a major hindrance however, as we were able to get more establishing shots. I feel like we have increased our variety since last time— more diversity in shots, including high angles, low angles, pans, and transitions such as jump cuts. This project has been a major improvement and a lot of fun. When we get to the class on Tuesday, we will dump the shots to Lauren’s laptop so that we can use iMovie. I’m very excited for our project!!! My only concern is that we will potentially have too many shots and not know what to do with them. I’m not fretting over it— I’d prefer too much than too little!

Filming part 1

Much to our group's dismay, our group was incapable of filming over this weekend. There was a big event over the weekends known as classics. Classics is a football game that is extremely significant in Florida. This is because it is a competition between two very important schools musically: Bethune Cookman University and Florida A&M University. This event is so significant that our school held a field trip just so that the students could have a shot at viewing this spectacular phenomenon. Being band kids, this event was greatly intriguing and all though I did not attend, I could completely understand when one of our group members decided to travel there with her family over the weekend. However, this would mean that our group would be incapable of filming over the weekend. As seen in the storyboard, all four of us are required in order for us to shoot the scenes. Should Aaliyah be excluded, the impact and overall vision intended to be created through the song would be tarnished. Additionally, my responsibilities at home with my mother also contributed to our not filming the project over the weekend.
Despite this setback, we still intend to film as planned. We will still meet up at Lauren's house, and though it's unofficial, I believe on of her parents will be picking us up. The filming process will begin at around 3 or 4 o' clock. Our goal is to shoot the scenes required at the meeting location and be at Sawgrass Mall by golden hour. This is so that we can get the perfect lighting for our film, as lighting was a major issue when we were doing the commercial. We will arrive in our casual clothes, after which we will change into something more outgoing. The theme was supposed to be "trendy and casual", but I wasn't sure how to apply that, especially considering my group's contrast of interest. Unfortunately, the images shown to me for reference were majority pants and crop top themed outfits, which would be an issue for me, considering my religious beliefs. My beliefs may also go against the scene in which we're getting ready, applying makeup and other things, as I do not engage in such practices as well. Nevertheless, I will think of a method of compromise in order to ensure that the film is according to the desire of the entire group.
After we enter the mall, we intend to ask for the consent to film from the mmall in order to ensure that everything we do is within the guidelines of the law. After this, we intend to go into the stores and film. Whether Lauren's parents will be participating in the film whether to serve as an adult supervisor, assistance to film, or merely to watch us is undisclosed to me. This iis not the only thing I am uncertain of. We do not know when filming will end, meaning I do not know if food will be provided. Because of this, I would appreciate to know if it will be necessary to bring money to et. I also do not know at what time I would have the opportunity to do so. I also do not know the time at which I will be returning home, nor by what method. However, I have assurance the all the intricacies of the project will be sorted out by tomorrow, the filming day. Our goal is for our project to be more successful than the previous one. Hopefully we will be able to achieve it!

Planning: Storyboarding

My group and I made sure to create a good storyboard. Our blog fills up three pages of boxes with six boxes on each page. Each box represents six seconds, and we come up to one minute and 18 seconds total. The purpose of this blog is to thoroughly describe these boxes to have a clear understanding before we record. The video will begins with an establishing shot of all four members sitting together happily while the music plays softly in the background, allowing the music to emphasize the bass of the music. The second shot will contain the two other girls (Aaliyah and I) will comment on how good the song is. After this, there will be a shot of Lauren and Jahrvia singing the lyrics to a small part of the song found in the intro. This will be a two shot. A swipe transition will occur and the next scene is the transition from the introduction to the song. The shot will start in the sky where the title of the film will be displayed as well as our names in the bottom right corner.

It is at this point that the song begins, and the sky will begin to tilt down and then cut to a split screen in fours as opposed to two. This scene will have the four of us getting ready, and then a tracking shot of the four girls together walking to go into the car. There will be a point of view shot that will show either Lauren or Jahrvia driving to the location, after which we will have a ride shot of the girls dancing across the cross walk entering the Sawgrass Mills Mall, which will be a wide shot. The next scene will be a hand-held shot of the girls walking into the mall, and then another of us(the girls) in a cart, touring the mall. The first store we will film in will be hot topic. When in hot topic, there will be shots of us dancing and lip syncing the lyrics to the song. After this, we will enter Zumies, checking out the skateboards and shoes. We will rely heavily on pan movements for this scene. We will do a similar, less pan heavy shot of us in Foot Locker, after which we’ll do either a hand held or tracking hot in the food court browsing for food. The final scene will be of us playing video games in an arcade— there will be a full body shot of one person playing games, perhaps flipped, after which the screen will cut to black, quickly show us all playing video games again, and then conclude the video.

Planning Blog

For our music video, there are five important considerations to take into account: location, health and safety, props, costumes and schedule. We intend to use various locations for our music video, the primary settings being Lauren's (a group member's) house and Sawgrass Mall. At Lauren's house, we intend to shoot the introduction to the film. The rest of the entire film will be at Sawgrass. We intend to use different sections and enter stores such as Hot Topic and Zumies. We will also be going to the food court and the outside outlet. In order to ensure that everything is legal and to have full access to the things we need in the mall, we will make sure to ask consent at the front to see if we can record. Health and safety isn't much of a concern, we don't intend to do anything dangerous of health endangering. Because of this, we will not be bringing much to ensure our health or safety. However, there are so many ways to get injured, maybe a pack of band-aids would come in handy. Additionally, should we drive we will be careful to abide by the rules of the road, including seat belts. Props will be whatever we have access to-- the clothes in the stores, the items in the background, etc. However, we intend to have makeup and a car in our film. Our clothes, like the location, will change with the placement in the song. We intend to wear casual clothes to Lauren's house, and as the music moves from the intro to the song, we will change from casual to something more extravagant. We will be doing this to compliment the theme of our music video. The last consideration is the schedule. Filming of the blog will begin on Tuesday; we’ll sign out the camera during 7th period to record after school. When school is over, everyone will travel to Lauren’s house where we will shoot the introduction. Should the weather go as intended, we will travel to Sawgrass where we will shoot the outside scenes, and then go inside to shoot the inside scenes. The time for eating as well as the time we intend to return to our homes has not been established, but it’s almost guaranteed to be before night fall. I am positive, especially considering our previous experience, that this filming process will be a tremendous success!

Intro to new project: Music video

I enjoyed and learned many things doing the McDonald's commercial. Working with my peers was a very entertaining, we were efficient and worked with a positive outlook for the entirety of the project. The filming of the commercial was definitely the most eventful process-- I learned a lot about the camera and the angles. I had retained the knowledge from the lectures in class, but I wasn't actually able to apply it when we began the process until gaining some experience during the filming process. Editing, contrary to the film, was a boring and strenuous process. I have learned much about editing, however my group had also learned that it is much easier to simply use iMovie as opposed to Pinnacle Studios. I have also learned to save an extra copy of our takes should something happen and remain faithful to the storyboard.

The song we selected was "Catch Me Outside" by rapper Ski Mask the Slump God. It's a well known song and is enjoyed by my groupmates, so we decided to do it. The song sets an exciting and liberating mood, a theme that we intend to highlight and emphasize in our music video.

I personally do not take pleasure in listening to rap music, but I know that the music typically follows a heavy base line and a repeated chord progression. As for the videos, I know that the lighting is rarely, if ever vibrant and pans are frequently utilized alongside your typical cut or jump cut.

  1. Costume: We will start the film in casual clothing, after which we will change into more exciting attire. We're chnaging to head on the road, meaning we're dressing in hopes of clear weather.
  2. Lighting: Though our music video will start in a bright and positive atmosphere, we will be following the typical rap theme and change to a darker mood. This will be to represent our "night of the town" theme and not stray too far from the popular rap atmosphere.
  3. Actor: We're positive that we will all be performing in our film. However, there is a chance that we will be using outside individuals to help give us a free, party-like atmosphere.
  4. Make-up: I am religiously restrained from wearing makeup, but my group members might take pleasure in wearing it.
  5. Props: Any objects found in our environment are a potential prop. Specifically, we intend to go to the mall and use the sports car display.
  6. Scenery: Our scenery will be at the mall and the house where we all gather in the film. However, this is not concrete as yet.

Final Blog

Today was the the start of the last step of our commercial making process. We had looked at the films last class to find the shots. There was a lot of extra and unnecessary footage, so we had to crop a lot of it out. Lauren did most of the computer work. We both transferred the files to the computer, but she decided to do the editing. While we were doing this, we faced some problems that hindered the process. For instance, our computer died multiple times when we were finding our shots. The computers do not have individual chargers, so when it died we couldn’t use it anymore. We told the teacher and did some planning for today when we would be combining the shots. Even though it was a PSD (professional study day), we figured that we would be able to complete at least the combination of scenes by today.

Things did not exactly go as planned today, however. We had limited time with the PSD, but still a substantial amount of challenges. We had chosen our shots for each scene, but when we combined them it ended up being too long. The commercial was reaching the filming limit by the second or third scene. This means that we had to crop, cut, pick, and choose even more. One of our ideas for concision was to make a split screen when the children open their happy meals. It was a brilliant idea in our minds. To add, it would make our video more concise. As great as the idea was, however, we quickly faced an issue in accomplishing it after we realized that the shots weren’t the same length. As if that weren’t bad, we also didn’t know how to do a split screen. Both of the teachers were absent today, so we resorted to the internet. However, the internet was not concise and was difficult to understand. We decided to put that part off for when the teachers come back next class. To put the icing on the cake, our computer was yet again short on battery. As a result of this, our computer yet again died in the middle of our working process. The video saved, but time was wasted as we could not continue working. This means that we will have to add effects, audio and finish today’s work by next class. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this at home because we chose pinnacle studios and not iMovie. Should we get the opportunity to work together again, l will hope to have my group use a different software, preferably one we can use at home.

Next class will hopefully be better. I have selected an image of the McDonald’s logo that we will use when the scene fades. We will also be adding audio as well as some effects if possible. I look forward to class and have learned from today’s experiences!

Editing Process 1

Today we intended to edit the blog. Unfortunately, this did not come to pass. Computers 1-12 are working computers, and though 13 and beyond have pinnacle studios, they are not in the best condition. This means that we cannot crop or edit the videos created. It is because of this why we did not make much progress in editing today. However, the day was productive in other means, so maybe  we will be able to edit successfully next class.  We intend to do voice overs as well as effects and transitions when we get the opportunity.  This is exciting but also worrisome, simply due to the fact that I am worried that my group and I will have a contrast of interest. We had conflicts before and today because we did not efficiently make a plan for the shots and the commercial. Next time we work together should we get the opportunity, I will ensure that the plan is well illustrated and clear for my teammates.

Even though we did not get to edit, we did get to record. We only had two more scenes, so we got to record those two missing scenes today. Jahrvia brought the food, so we were able to do the trunk shot.  We also remembered to bring the clothes from last time so that we can shoot the door exiting scene. Luckily for me, I did not have to change. I didn’t have to change because the McDonald’s worker was no longer required. This, as last time, resulted in me being the cameraman for the scenes required. I didn’t have much of a say in the trunk shot; I stood and ensured that everything went as planned and assisted when needed.  We recorded this a few times, and had some issues figuring out how to do the trunk shot. Lauren eventually figured out how to do it, and the shot went smoothly after that. Both Jahrvia and Lauren were cast in the trunk shot , and they only took one shot of the scene.

After this scene we went to do the first scene of the film. There was a debate over where we should shoot the takes. The image was to have the mother and the two children exiting the building and talking about their dreams. In order to do this, we needed double doors. We thought of using the double doors for the gym, but there was a dispute. The reason for such was because the doors were blue and McDonald’s is red. This applies to most of our doors. Luckily, the media center has glass doors. This meant we could shoot without altering our theme. After traveling to the media center, there was an issue with shooting. I wanted to do a tracking shot from a distance and then trail behind, and my teammate just wanted to walk past the camera. No one was satisfied for a while and there was a lot of shots. In the end, I decided to do two shots. The first shot was from close, the second was from a distance. I preferred the first shot so we went with that. However, my teammates appeared to be frustrated and spoke very quietly. We might have to voice over next class. I hope next class will be better and more efficient.

Filming Process 1

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, my group shot the scenes for our commercial. Unfortunately, we could not shoot all of our scenes on the day because we didn't have access to the inside of buildings. Additionally, we did not have a happy meal box, which was crucial to the filming process. We decided to shoot the scenes in between those and record again on Monday. I had to change my entire outfit for the role. My shirt was changed to a black one and my skirt was changed to black pants. I wore black shoes and my black and white visor. Lauren and Jahrvia, two of my three partners, changed their shirts to something more childlike. Aaliyah did not have to change her clothes because she was the mother and did not have to. Most of our scenes were outside, so we didn't have to change locations.

We filmed on the senior patio for most of our scenes. The first scene had consisted of the children and the mother walking to the seats. They decided to put a spin on it and improvise as they went to their seats. We improvised for the majority of the scenes. This was because for most of the scenes, although there was a rough guideline, there was no specific script. However, it ended up working well and the guideline was sufficient to create the scene we all desired. We took a lot of takes of the first scene and were incredibly picky. As time progressed, however, we realized that there wasn't enough time and were not as specific. There were only four of us, so when we got to the scene where the McDonald's waiter came to take their order, we ended up having to leave the camera. This means that we couldn't do zooms, pans or tilts. This was a bummer for me because I feel like they enhance the film. Nevertheless, we did the recording in one take and made do with what we were skilled enough to achieve. Hopefully we can edit some effects in post production.

I enjoyed the experience very much, particularly towards the end. I was only in two scenes, so I transitioned to the role of cameraman after I completed my lines. This allowed us to do close ups, change the variety of our shots, and add camera movements. We changed a lot of the ideas I had in mind in the beginning. Our shots also contrasted the plans of other team members. We decided to do an over the shoulder shot between the children. This scene includes the children playing with the barbie toys that match their desired careers. In the end, they turn to face the camera and say the barbie slogan, after which there is a tilt to the sky. My intention is for the shot to fade to a red backdrop with the McDonald's logo. Once the clips have completely transitioned, the signature jingle will play and the clip will cut to black.

Storyboard

Today in AICE media studies my group and I created our storyboard. The images we had in our brain were not completely the same, but Aaliyah, one of my group members, made one a day in advance to help. The first box is an establishing shot of McDonald’s. It’ll be a short shot, and we intend to travel there to get a shot if possible. The second box is an image illustrated by Lauren. The image shows a parent and her two children exiting the McDonald’s building. As they exit, the children talk about their aspirations and dreams. The third shot is a picture of the waiter speaking to the now seated guests, and the shot following would be the mother placing the order. She orders a happy meal for her two girls. The fifth box is a picture of a split screen. One half shows what is supposed to be a trunk shot of the delightful meal and the surprise toy. The other shows the picture of a surprised and overjoyed girl who finds a Barbie doll that suits her aspirations. It is in this shot that the Barbie theme song begins to play. The last shot is shot that will be a zoom out on the now content family as they enjoy their meal. As it zooms out, it will fade to the red background with the signature M in the middle. The theme song for McDonald’s will play and the commercial will end. This is the agreed commercial. I think that it’ll be interesting to watch and an entertaining method of promotion.

Planning Blog for Happy Meal Commercial

In my research blog, I described the numerous methods utilized by McDonalds to promote their happy meals. Our project will be a commercial based off of the toy for a recent McDonalds toy.
The theme for this year through October 14, 2019 is Barbie and Hot Wheels-- both under the company Mattel. Our commercial will be geared towards Barbie and will be built around the concept "You can be anything." Three of the four of us will be playing the part of children in the commercial. All three of the children will be speaking and receiving happy meals. The final person will play the role of the cashier at McDonalds.

In order to create this commercial, various Mis En Scene must be utilized in order for the subject to understand. As props, we will include the infamous red box with the golden smile arches. The boxes will contain a meal and the toy to be featured in the commercial. For costuming, the worker will wear all black and the customers will be wearing child-like attire and backpacks, acting as children coming from school. Our schedule will lead as follows: We will first set up around the front of the school to show that the kids are leaving and heading to McDonalds. The school will be shown for a few seconds after which we will cut to the senior patio, which will serve as our McDonalds outdoor seating area. Next we will switch to a trunk shot that will show the faces of the kids as they open their happy meals when they spot their barbie toy.

Unfortunately, South Florida tends to have unpredictable weather, and the bulk of our plans are dependent upon a favorable forecast. In the case of precipitation , the McDonalds scene would be moved from the senior patio to the media center or the cafeteria if we're granted permission. As for the introductory scene, it will be moved to somewhere under shelter. In preparation of an absence, the members of my group will learn each others parts so that we can assume both roles effectively.

Research Blog: Conventions and Code

My group has decided to make our commercial to advertise McDonald's Happy Meals. Over time, McDonald's has continued to become more creative in the way they include their own app for children to play on. Starting with their first Happy Meal commercial in 1979, the franchise has utilized different families and characters to promote the fun sized children's meal. In a Happy Meal commercial, you will find that there is the signature box that is either a plain red with the signature McDonald's arches or a box covered in the promoted character/ theme for the month. The commercials often include 30 seconds of laughing, dancing and eating. Additional commercials display a family coming in for a happy meal to find a pleasant surprise at the bottom of the box. Recently, McDonald's has resorted to using animation to promote the happy meals as opposed to the traditional happy meal characters (ex. Ronald McDonald). The company has also been allowed to animate the characters as a method to promote the toys.

Additionally, you may often find in most every commercial that there is a signature jingle and slogan. It typically follows the traditional tune "Buh da buh buh buuhhh" (C D E A G ), and precedes the phrase "I'm lovin' it". However, some commercials also base their songs around the toy being promoted. For instance, a recent 2019 commercial featured the song "hakuna matata" from the 2019 release of "hakuna matata" from the new Disney film, "The Lion King". The advertisement also conveyed the family as characters from the movie, strutting as Simba, Timon and Pumba did in the movie. Happy meals on occasion will do promotions. Whenever there's a new television show or movie, McDonald's will create a toy, after which they compel their customers to watch the promoted show/ movie. This does not apply solely to television but other methods of entertainment as well. A perfect instance is the early 2000s; the rise of Kidz Bop. McDonalds would give out a CD with each happy meal for children to listen to at home!

In conclusion, McDonalds has used a lot of the same techniques attract their audience, still continuing to receive brand deals and success. Despite using the same jingle, McDonalds continues to entrance its audience with its amusing commercials. From 1979 until 2019, McDonalds has never ceased to create an entertaining and family friendly environment through their advertisements that sparks joy and lures in customers. For our project, it has been concluded that the most reasonable method of promotion would be through replicating the principles/ technique of the Lion King. This is because of its relevance to this generation. However, the industry being cooperated with is also a careful consideration. McDonalds was wise in choosing a Disney-- a concept we will likely recreate-- as it is big among the targeted audience for happy meals. With every commercial of their favorite Disney princess or biggest hero on television, children plead for their parents to take them to McDonalds, ultimately increasing revenue. By following McDonald's stellar guidelines for this commercial, we get one step closer to understanding what it takes to succeed in the AICE exam.

Introduction

-        Hello, my name is Anishkaneel Allen! I am15 years old. I am a  sophomore  at Fort Lauderdale High School. Presently I reside in Plantation, Florida and I enjoy things such as the arts and literature. I was born March 11, 2004 in Broward General hospital. My mom works in the education field and her drive to assist students in need has inspired me to pursue a career in Speech Language pathology. However,  there are various other aspirations that I have in mind that I could potentially do instead. I like the color blue, particularly vibrant shades and mixtures such as cyan. Despite my vibrant taste in visuals, I fancy more dramatic movies that touch the soul and evoke emotion, such as romantic tragedy.
-        My passion for the arts has influenced me in a lot of my after school activity. Although I wasn’t active kindergarten through third grade due to lack of confidence and interest, moving to Fort Lauderdale inspired me to be active and I joined the chorus club. I found myself to enjoy this activity very much, and from then on I’ve engaged in the activity every year. Entering sixth grade I also sparked my interest in literature and writing, which paved the way to debate. Unfortunately, debate was not the best experience for me, as I was not informed properly regarding the regulations by my teacher and I never found the category I was truly passionate about until the end of eighth grade. In high school I attempted poetry, and although the club was not as intriguing as I anticipated, I did appreciate the bonds I developed with the members there. I didn’t find the club I was truly passionate about until the end of freshman year when I joined marching band. I was already passionate about the activity before— the music was entrancing and their enthusiasm blew me away. I intend to remain in band until I graduate from high school in the year 2022.

-        I joined this class for various reasons— I initially thought the class was entertaining and the idea of learning more about the film industry fascinated me. Additionally, I heard from my peers that it was a fun and interesting class, which I felt could benefit my schedule. It is presently meeting my expectations as a fun class with opportunities to use your peers as a social mechanism in order to learn more about the art known as film. I anticipate that it will continue to challenge me to expand my horizons and test my abilities to the fullest in hopes of creating something that would show my views on this subject. I intend to pass this class, as well as my other classes in order to graduate from high school with my diploma and some form of merit. Thank you!!
